	Tougher than a Typhoon
	As the world's only supplier of structural artificial foliage for out-door applications, Matrix has supported significant programs for theme parks in Florida, California, and China. The latest programs in China required the trans-oceanic shipment with logistical and installation support in the remote mountain town of Nong Ping. Artificial trees supplied by Matrix have endured direct exposure to hurricane and typhoon wind speeds in excess of 135mph.


	HydroSail Sails Matrix
	HydroSail, Inc. launches innovative sailing hydrofoil with critical structures built by Matrix Composites. The unique craft utilizes underwater "wings" that lift the boat's hulls out of the water eliminating wave making drag. When "flying," the boat will achieve speeds in excess of 40 mph. Due to the extreme load conditions, uni-directional M30J carbon fiber prepreg was utilized to achieve required laminate properties.
